ruminations on the art, science, and philosophy of purposeful movement
PWGI is a corps of crack commandos dedicated to explaining the art, science, and philosophy of purposeful movement: everything from driving to mass transit to air travel. They are headquartered in the super-secret PWGI Bunker, where they monitor worldwide developments in transit technology for reportage to their faithful.
(Because you asked, PWGI is properly pronounced ‘piggy.’ The ‘w’ is a vowel.)
Eric Rodriguez (barkeep) excelled in high school auto shop, studied engineering in college, and has worked as a professional valet. He drives a white turbocharged 1986 Nissan 300 ZX.
Jared Sunshine (citizen sunshine) has visited forty-seven states (bar the coldest ones: Alaska, Maine and North Dakota) on roadtrips. He drives a green 1999 Mazda Protegé LX.
Louis Benowitz (angeles lost) is a hardcore Angeleno with an impeccable sense of navigation and an endless knowledge of obscure shortcuts. He drives a white 2001 Honda Civic EX.
